Cayce graduated magna cum laude from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Studying biology during his first two years of college ignited his interest in numbers and his appreciation for business. Cayce then earned his Master of Business Administration and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University. His coursework focused on taxation and business entities. After graduation, Cayce briefly practiced law in Amarillo, Texas. As a young attorney, he learned the importance of listening to the client and paying attention to details.
In 1999, he joined forces with Eddie Thompson to assist nonprofit organizations and their donors, focusing on charitable estate planning. Cayce works closely with major donors across the country. For the last few years, Cayce has also been leading efforts to implement innovation to the charitable estate planning process. Out of this passion for incorporating cutting-edge technology coupled with his ability in streamlining processes, Cayce was very much involved in the Gift Clarity vision from the start.
When Cayce is not working with nonprofits and their donors, he enjoys all types of physical activities. In addition to exercising and participating in competitions himself, he spends lots of time coaching youth sports. Cayce lives in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife and four children.
